Yes, we start removing lights the first week of January and usually finish no later than the third week. For your convenience, we'll notify you beforehand as to the approximate day our professional teams will come to take down your Christmas lights.

The investment for your lighting display depends on the number and type of lights you choose. We make every effort to give accurate estimates; however, because every home, business, and community is different, your actual investment will be based on the work performed.

Because we offer a turnkey solution, all quotes include our award-winning displays, installation, removal, and materials.

Note: because we provide the highest quality supplies at wholesale prices, we require full payment for all materials at the time of the estimate. With our commercial grade LEDs, you're able to install far more lights than you could with incandescent lighting, so the chance of overloading your electrical circuits is essentially zero.

We still take every precaution: Christmas Lights by Design uses formulas that determine the total electrical output per project to find the best place for electrical connection. If more power is needed, we'll have our electrician install a separate power box for your project.

In the event of an overload, Christmas Lights by Design will not be held responsible for inadequate, faulty, or overloaded electrical sources at the place of service. You may be required to provide electrical connection from inside the house.

We make sure all lights are operational before we leave your initial installation, and we offer a free 48-hour soak period. If a bulb or strand goes out after that, we'll repair or replace it for a minimum labor fee.

Keep in mind that wind, rain, snow, ice, a passing courier, or a homeowner running over ground lights can all affect an outdoor display. We encourage all customers to unplug their lights during severe weather to prevent interrupted service.
