  • How is your Christmas Light company different from electrical companies and seasonal lawn services?

Quite simply, we are a lighting company that specializes in the design, supply, training, and installation of Christmas Lighting and Holiday Lights. Because lighting is ALL WE DO, YOU do not have to worry about a whole section of lights going out all the time as we hear from lawn care, landscape, or construction services.  Additionally, since we combine our wholesale lighting products with our AWARD Winning Designs, lighting acumen, and friendly customer service your lighting display is BRIGHTER, BETTER, and more DEPENDABLE.

  • Is your company insured?

Yes, we will gladly show you proof of our insurance policy.

  • Do you offer discounts?

Yes, we offer Pre-Season discounts.  Our most popular way to SAVE is by booking your NEW residential Christmas lighting project before October 20th to save 20% on the installation labor cost.

  • Will you come back to remove my Christmas lights at the end of the season?

Yes, we start removing lights the first week of January. We usually finish no later than the third week. For your convenience, we will notify you beforehand as to the approximate day our professional teams will come to take down / remove your Christmas lights.

  • GO GREEN! With our Energy Efficient LEDs

We have seen excellent results with our Energy Star LED bulbs. Some of the benefits include:

    • REDUCTION in YOUR electric bill (up to 90% when compared to incandescent bulbs)

    • A cleaner, crisper, and brighter look

    • A greater lifespan (50,000 hours compared to 2,000 for incandescents)

    • They never get hot, they are always cool to the touch

    • More lights/bulbs on one outlet

    • They are made of a hard durable plastic that eliminates breakage

Call today for a personal demonstration of our LED lighting products.

  • How much will it cost?

The investment of your lighting display will depend on the number and type of lights you choose. We make every effort to give accurate estimates; however, because every home, business, and community is different and changes may occur during the installation based on your requests, your actual investment will be based on the work performed.

Because we offer a turnkey solution, all quotes include our AWARD WINNING DISPLAYS, installation, removal, and materials.

Note: Because we provide the highest quality supplies at wholesale prices, we require full payment for all materials during the time of the estimate. This ensures that we are able to order your supplies while our suppliers have them in their inventory. The time frame to receive our best Christmas light pricing is usually by the 2nd to 4th week of October.

  • Is there a difference between your lights and the ones I buy at a retail store?

Absosultely Yes! The lights and greenery we use have been pre-selected by us for the specific purposes of Christmas lighting. This includes longer life bulbs, thicker wire, and fuller greenery. As an added benefit, all of our lights are UL-rated.

  • Do you guys have a lift for commercial installations?

Yes, we do use lifts if the project calls for it.

  • What happens if the lighting overloads my electrical circuits?

The great news with our Commercial Grade LEDs is that you are able to install more lights on your place of residence or company than with incandescent lights. This means that the chance of the Christmas lights overloading your electrical circuits are essentially “zero”.

However, we take every precaution to ensure that this doesn’t happen. As such, Christmas Lights by Design utilizes “state of the art” formulas that determine the total electrical output per project to determine the best place for electrical connection. Because of this we rarely see circuits overloading due to our installations. In the event you need more power we will have our electrician install a separate power box for your project.

In the event you experience an overload, Christmas Lights by Design will not be held responsible for inadequate, faulty, or overloaded electrical sources at the place of service. You may be required to provide electrical connection from inside the house.

  • What happens if a light bulb goes out on my display?

Because we understand the importance of your lighting needs, we make sure all lights are operational before we leave your initial installation. We also offer a FREE 48 hour soak period. If for some reason a light bulb or strand should go out after the 48 hour soak period, we will repair and/or replace it for a minimum labor fee. In most cases, it only takes an hour to fix the lighting issue.

Please note that there are a variety of things that can affect your outdoor lighting display; wind, rain, snow, ice, a courier bumping into one of your lights, or a homeowner accidentally running over their ground lights, etc. We encourage all of our customers to unplug their lights in the event of severe weather to prevent interrupted service.
